M.S. in Human Resource Leadership


The Master of Science in Human Resource Leadership prepares students to be strategic leaders by aligning an organization’s strategy and its people. The program helps leaders to navigate the evolving human resources field and lead an increasingly diverse workforce. The unique program design allows students to customize their learning through individual advanced certificates or a complete degree. This program was developed in collaboration with a wide range of Human Resources executives in the business community, resulting in an educational experience that is cutting edge and highly relevant in today’s ever changing business and leadership environment. To accommodate the schedules of working professionals, the program is offered using a hybrid/online format, with in-class sessions held evenings or weekends. The Advanced Certificates include:

Entry Requirements  

  1. Completed Online Application
  2. Completion of the professional statement as described on the application
  3. Official transcripts from all colleges attended
    • Applicant must have completed, or will be completing, a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative index of 3.0 and a “B” average in the major field by the start date of the desired term.
      • Applicants who do not meet these grade point average expectations must address them in their professional statement; please see the Professional Statement section of the admissions application for further information.
      • Upon approval of the Program Director, a student with a cumulative index lower than 3.0/B may be admitted.  For example, career professionals who have significant life experiences and strong resume/work experience in the field may be accepted.
  4. Two letters of recommendation
  5. Interview with the program director
  6. Resume indicating three or more years of professional experience
