The Marketing Program is part of the School of Management. This program offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. This program combines the professional discipline with a solid foundation in the arts and sciences.

The overall goal of the marketing major is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills necessary to gain access to entry-level marketing positions in general marketing, sales, customer service, marketing communications, market research, public relations and other marketing related fields.

According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, the employment of advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations and sales managers is expected to increase over the next eight to ten years. Job growth will be spurred by intense domestic and global competition in products and service offered to consumers.
