The Economics Program in part of the Nazareth College School of Management.  The program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.  Students also have the option to double major in Economics and Inclusive Childhood/Middle Childhood Education to achieve teacher certification.

Successful completion of the economics major will allow students to understand, evaluate, and analyze the economic issues and challenges of everyday life as well as the economic systems in which we live. 

A perspective rooted in the liberal arts is used to examine the causes and patterns of societal change within the framework of economics.  The approach helps students prepare for graduate study in the fields of economics, business, law, and related disciplines, as well as professional careers. 

Job increase will be driven by very rapid growth in computer system design and related services, which is projected to be one of the fastest-growing industries in the U.S. economy.
