PSC.Q 101 - Introduction to Political Science


(PEQ Social Science) This course is designed to introduce students to the discipline of political science, which is the study of power. The course asks us to think about the question of _what is power?_ by means of exploring the enduring and changing ideologies that underpin political action in the contemporary era. In analyzing the ideologies of liberalism, fascism, conservatism, feminism, Islamism, and others, students will learn how systems of ideas inform political action locally, nationally, and internationally.
