MUX 499 - Senior Honors Composition Portfolio/ Recital

Hour Portfolio/Recital - this is the degree conferral requirement and culminating senior experience for the BM in Composition. Audition required. Portfolio must include a piece for major ensemble, a major multi-movement chamber or solo piece, and a variety of other pieces showing proficiency in different styles and genres. The portfolio is mandatory, the recital can be partially fulfilled at composition and other recitals as appropriate and feasible. Prerequisite: MUX*294. Corequisite: MUP*1Q.
