ENGL 306 - Shakespeare’s Tragedies and Romances

Examines Shakespeare’s later plays, which plumb the depths of tragedy and explore the possibility of redemption. Plays typically covered include Othello, King Lear, and The Tempest; works which speak to twenty-first century concerns, such as racism, colonialism, and economic justice.
