INAD 625 - Strategies for Teaching Literacy in the Adolescent Content Areas

This course will prepare teachers of all secondary content areas to help their students be successful when encountering literacy based assignments and assessments. Teachers will develop competency to critically analyze text, match students to appropriate text, and teach students effective strategies to read to learn as well as expressing thought through writing. Offered Summer A semester only.
