CAT 684 - Foundations of Play Therapy


Course designed to introduce students to the major theoretical approaches to play therapy practice. In addition, students will learn to set up a playroom, how to choose toys for therapy, and how to explain this type of therapy to other professionals. Will learn basic play therapy and relationship building techniques in an experiential classroom setting. Open to students in Creative Arts Therapy and Social Work programs. Open to students in other graduate programs with permission of instructor.
