SOC 410 - Race, Ethnicity & Society


Examines the role of race and ethnicity in contemporary society. Topics include the social construction of race, the role of racial identities in society, the effects of stereotypes, structural racism, and the possible individual-level and collective paths to racial democracy and racial equity.
