CAT 530 - Culminating Project Seminar I and Externship


This yearlong (MT) or semesterlong (AT) course is an in-depth study or research project dealing with the aspect of creative arts therapy. This research process includes writing a proposal and in-depth literature review. This can be further development of a case study undertaken in previous coursework, enriched by research or a project demonstrating excellence in other clinical areas (e.g. the development of a new clinical battery or illustrated children’s book slated for future publication). Prerequisite: CAT 677 - for the Art Therapy program, students must achieve a grade of B or better in CAT 677 to continue with CAT 530.
