SWK 383 - Social Work Methods I/Field Experience I

Social Work Practice I is the first in a series of three social work practice courses. Explains the social work generalist practitioner model and students engage in evidence-based practice. Introduces the NASW Code of Ethics and provides students with engagement and assessment knowledge, theory, and skills within the micro level of practice.
