SCI 201 - Interrelationships in Science


This course will explore the basic ideas in science that transcend the traditional disciplines of Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Astronomy. Topics such as energy, matter, motion and reactions will be investigated. An integral part of this course will be the application of these concepts through inquiry-based, hands-on laboratory experiments. Diversity among the disciplines as well as the ways that different cultures have answered fundamental questions about themselves and their world will be discussed. Course Codes: R.
