RES 387 - Auschwitz and After: Religious Questions and Ethical Dilemmas


The continuing impact of the Holocaust upon issues of religion and spirituality e.g., good and evil, belief and behavior, and individual responsibility and social protest. Special emphasis on the experience of women as well as the role of rescue and resistance. Explored through survivor testimony, theological writing, fiction, and film. Course Codes: BR.
