MTH 490 - Undergraduate Research in Mathematics I


Students choose and narrow topic, identify and locate appropriate resources, read, work independently, generate questions, perform investigations, may prove conjectures. Proofs developed, if possible. Original research not required. Students provide written records of independent work, present research progress, summarize work in formally typeset paper, present talk at regional conference. Course Codes: CIR.
