HON 484 - Honors Thesis Proposal Fulfills the Honors thesis proposal requirement and the CME requirement. Taken in the Junior year by students enrolled in 4-year programs, and in the Sophomore year by students enrolled in 3-year programs. Students conduct interdisciplinary research as preparation for writing and defending the Honors Thesis (HON*485). The thesis proposal comprises an abstract of the Thesis with working title, a working bibliography, preliminary outline, and a list of primary and secondary readers. Students must complete this course before they enroll in HON*485, Honors Thesis. Course Codes: AFGR. Prereqs: ENGL*250, PHL.Q*101, HON*099, and two of the three IS cluster courses. HON*484 may be taken concurrently with an approved 300/400 level interdisciplinary course and with the third IS cluster course.
