SWK 304 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment I

One of two courses in the Human Behavior and the Social Environment sequence. Provides a multidimensional perspective on human behavior, including substance use and abuse, addiction and recovery. Analyzes the person-in-environment concept, the influences of biological, psychological, spiritual, and socio-cultural factors on behavior, and the relevance of systems theory. Includes analysis and application of a range of human behavior theoretical perspectives and conceptual frameworks.
