DSP 596 - Language, Literacy, and Communication in School-age Deaf and HOH Students

This course will explore speech and language development of DHOH students in grade school. The following will be addressed: language and literacy assessment and instruction; influence of spoken English, sign language, and Cued Speech on literacy development; and individual differences related to disability and cultural and linguistic diversity.
