(PEQ History) What is the American Dream? How did (and does) it shape the way we think about ourselves? This course surveys American history from the post Civil War period to the present and explores how, in the past, Americans thought about their world, and created or resisted social structures to fulfill their wants and needs, and struggled to define and redefine themselves and the American Dream.
