PSY.Q 102 - Introduction to Psychology: Social Science


(Perspectives Enduring Questions) What influences how we experience the world around us? This course explores this question by introducing students to the field of psychology through the lens of a social scientist. It covers molar topics such as human development and social interaction, personality, and psychological disorders and therapies. Students will learn about the value and limitations of correlational methods, experimental design, and observational research design. Students will read classical studies in psychology and will learn about different theoretical perspectives.
