PSY.Q 101 - Introduction to Psychology: Natural Science


(Perspectives Enduring Questions) How do you experience the world? What influences how you experience the world? This is an introductory course to the ‘natural science’ approach to psychology with an emphasis on the biology of behavior, sensation & perception, states of consciousness, learning, memory, cognition, language and intelligence. We will explore the value and limitations of laboratory experiments, read classic studies, and gain knowledge of differing theoretical perspectives.
