PHL 120 - Great Thinkers in Philosophy


This course presents a condensed version of the history of philosophy with a view to providing students with a sense of how philosophical ideas have been interpreted over time. Some of these ideas inclide: the existence of God (Metaphysics), the scope and limits of knowledge (Epistemology), ethical justifications for actions (Ethical Theories), and Aesthetic appreciation.
