BIO 220 - Principles of Toxicology


A comprehensive overview of the effects of environmental toxicants on biological systems at the organismal level with emphasis on the effects of toxicant exposure on human health. Topics include categories of toxic agents, the dose-response relationship, risk assessment, toxicant disposition, non-organ directed toxicity, and target organ toxicity.
