SWK 352 - Social Work Research Methods


This course develops comprehension of scientific and ethical approaches to building knowledge, emphasizing understanding of quantitative and qualitative social science research methods. The course explores linkages between social research and practice as well as critical philosophical and methodological issues. The course is designed to enhance knowledge of evidence-based interventions and the ability to use research to improve policy, practice, and service delivery.
