RES 338 - PII Merton: Mystic and Prophet

(Perspectives II course) Readings in Thomas Meron, twentieth-century monk and writer, mystic and prophet, with a focus on spirituality (meditation, prayer, living contemplatively), compassionate response to urgent social issues (violence, war and peace, racism and technology), and the search for unity through inter-religious dialogue and understanding.
