PTR 513 - Pathophysiology


This course examines the effects of pathological and age-related changes of major organ systems on health and human movement. Basic pharmacological principles, pharmacology, and medical terminology are included in course content. Students prepare individual and group projects on evidence-based practice and relate pathophysiology to physical therapy. Problem-based, patient-centered cases guide the learning activities, link the content across courses, and link the content to clinical practice.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses.
