ART 201 - Intro to Digital Video

This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of video production in the digital age and its possibilities as an artistic medium. Topics of discussion will include the theory and practice of documentary, experimental and narrative forms. Students will also be required to complete short projects in each of these areas. In addition, the course will include a look at historical and contemporary examples in film and video.
