AHI 274 - History of Graphic Design


A chronological survey of the major styles, movements, and individuals in graphic design, from the Renaissance to the present, with emphasis on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Students will become acquainted with the main languages of graphic design, as well as the cultural, technological, and socio-political contexts from which they originate.
