LIT 318G - PII Bledi-Bledi: Ethnic Youth, Hip-Hop Culture and Contested Cultural Identities in Contemporary France

(Perspectives II course) This course will discuss the notions of cultural identity and representation, gender-roles, religion, sexuality and political boundaries in France, as they are presented by Francophone novelists and filmmakers. It will also provide students with an introduction to film and literary theories.
