RES 230G - PII Buddhism


(Perspectives II course) An Interdisciplinary approach involving close textual study of Buddhist doctrine as well as ethnographic materials focused on ritual and everyday lived religious practice(s). Such an approach will deepen our knowledge of Buddhist belief across the globe, while highlighting the tradition’s evolutions and transformation in its Asian homelands.
