(Perspectives I course) A study of religion as lived in the major traditions of the East: Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Shinto. Exploration of experiences of the sacred, scriptures, symbols, rituals, ethics; influence of religion upon cultures, societies, and life stories.
