SWK 604 - Social Work Practice IV: Interdisciplinary Health Care Practice II

Continuation of the Interdisciplinary Health Care Practice course sequence. Builds on the direct practice content with individuals, families, and groups. Affords students deeper knowledge and skills in the application of an integrated practice model. Teaches practice models and multi-level methods of intervention for population-based, community collaborative services for populations at-risk with an emphasis on further development of clinical skills in the context of service development and delivery of community health and mental health services. Prepares students to critically examine the complex health and mental health environment and social work’s role in service delivery.
