NSG 603L - Clinical Practicum II

The purpose of this course is to provide the Gerontological Nurse Practitioner student with learning opportunities that facilitate mastery of the advanced practice role and provide a synthesis of clinical experiences. Clinical settings will be chosen to facilitate achievement of course and student objectives. The student will be accountable for increasingly independent management of acute and chronic health problems, as well as promoting rehabilitation and health maintenance for older adult clients. Students will participate as members of interdisciplinary teams.
