MTH 208 - PII Statistics for Scientists


(Perspectives II Course) This is a course for non-mathematics majors and emphasizes basic understanding of statistical concepts with a focus on scientific applications.  Students will learn how to design experiments, collect, organize and analyze data.  Topics include correlation, regression, confidence intervals, hypothesis test, interpreting chi-squared test and interpreting ANOVA.
