SOC 342 - Sociology of Homelessness


Examines the historical and social dimensions of homelessness as a social problem and the reasons for its persistence in American society and in Rochester. Class involves participant observation with soup kitchens, shelters, and other groups that work with homeless persons in the Rochester area.
