PSY 334 - Principles of Counseling The course is designed to introduce a broad spectrum of counseling theories, the processes involved in counseling and psychotherapy, professional ethics and issues of concern to those in the profession, and research regarding the effectiveness of these treatments. The course is theoretical and not applied and is intended to provide the student with an understanding of the complexity of the change process in relation to human problems.
