BME 477 - Literacy Instruction for Diverse Secondary Learners

Basic philosophies of effective literacy instruction for all learners at the middle and senior high school level. Exploration of specific instructional designs including reading and study strategies necessary for the comprehension of the textbook materials at secondary levels and which are appropriate for all learners in inclusive classrooms. Exploration of literacy issues and methodologies that promote coordination of strategies across academic curricula and which are appropriate for all learners in inclusive classrooms.
