CAT 524 - CAT & Chemically Dependent/Substance Abuse Client

The class focuses on utilizing creative arts

therapy while working in a group setting with

CD/SA clients. The model used is congruent with

the disease model of addiction and recovery.

Creative art therapy is utilized as an adjunct to

more traditional  forms of addiction therapy and

is to foster the existing treatment plan for CD/SA

clients. During the class, special needs

populations will be explored.
