LTED 614 - Literacy in the Elementary Content Areas
This
required course is designed
to help elementary grade
teachers to
support reading and writing
through the use of
effective instructional models
needed for
beginning students to access
expository materials.
Emphasis will be on
research-based strategies to
help elementary school
students with diverse needs
access texts (both print and
non-print) for the
purpose of gaining information
and applying this
information to other parts of
the overall
curriculum.
Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisites: LTED600, LTED609, EDU501, LTED612, LTED611, or Program Director’s approval.
