SWK 647 - Supervision and Consultation Identifies and examines central concepts, theories and models of supervision and consultation. Considers strategies and techniques for establishing, improving, and maintaining supervisory and consultative relationships as mechanisms for improving practice. Emphasizes the dynamics of supervision and consultation, power and authority, ethical and value principles, professional boundaries, supervision and consultation as leadership functions, and the importance of collaborative processes.
