SWK 601 - Advanced Practice With Individuals and Families


This course focuses on developing advanced knowledge and clinical skills in social work when working with individuals and families through an interprofessional and collaborative context. Engagement, assessment, and intervention are reviewed. Approaches that acknowledge and promote intersectionality, anti-oppression, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are emphasized. Prerequisites: Completion of required generalist SW courses at 500 level.
