SWK 508 - Diagnostic Process and Clinical Assessment

Summarizes diagnostic process and clinical assessment within social work practice. Examines mental health and well-being across the lifespan from interprofessional, collaborative, ecological, intersectional, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented perspectives. Includes content on diagnostic approaches including the use of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. Prerequisite: SWK 506 or experience in a mental health related setting.
