SWK 501 - Social Work Practice I Prepares students for generalist social work practice with individuals, families, and groups. Introduces students to the history and purpose of social work practice. Develops social work practice process skills, particularly engagement and assessment, from an ethical, strengths-based, interprofessional, and collaborative perspective.
