PTR 628 - Differential Diagnosis/Medical ImagingThis course prepares the student to practice in a patient-direct access to physical therapy healthcare environment. A review of systems approach to medical screening is presented as an essential aspect of diagnostic process in patient management. This course also provides students with an in-depth understanding of a variety of radiological and medical imaging techniques that are used in diagnosis, including plain film radiology, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and PET scan. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses. Prerequisites & Notes Requires successful completion of all prior coursework. Credits: 3 |
