BED 558 - Methods of Teaching Business I

Principles of business education with a focus on the New York State Learning Standards and curricula. Topics include the history of business education, inclusive strategies and methods of teaching the basic business subjects.  Students will maintain journals and are required to document their learning in a philosophical essay.  Course offered spring semester only; taken the spring before student teaching. 35 hours fieldwork required.
