NSG 517 - History and Philosophy of Higher Education

Provides an overview of the history and philosophy of higher education from colonial times to the present. The influence of sociocultural, political, and religious factors on the genesis and transformation in higher education during this period will be examined. Special emphasis will be placed on the history and philosophy of nursing education in institutions of higher learning.
