NSG 502 - Theoretical Perspectives for Gerontological Nurse Practitioners

The focus of this course is the study of the theoretical perspectives (nursing, physiological, psychological, sociological, cultural, spiritual, developmental, historical, economic and political) which explain the needs of the elderly and guide the advanced practice nurse in a critical evaluation and decision making regarding culturally congruent nursing care of the elderly.
